How to Attract Your Audience with Irresistible Content
/How to attract Your audience with Irresistible content: Utilizing Themed Posts and Hashtags Everyday to Build Community.
Social media is a wonderful platform to build your audience and community online.
This article gives options for you to invite your audience into community. Conversations will generate fun, introspection, and bonding while creating amazing user interested, user generated content to grow your community and visibility online.
If you are interested in truly building an engaged and active community on social media, it's time to get serious and take a leadership role in bringing your people together.
One way of proactively engaging with your community is to develop content that is easy and irresistible, both for the content creator and those looking for community.
Many groups and pages are utilizing recurring themes to create consistency for branding, awareness and (bonus!), this gives your audience something to look forward to every day. Recurring themes involve promoting a theme each day and allow the theme to recur every week of the year.
Along with a theme, the use of hashtags help greatly in your quest to grow your audience. Hashtags and social media are wonderful for joining in on discussions and conversations allowing others to find you.
Utilizing trending hashtags on your social media platforms allows you, your brand, your ministry, and/or your company to appear in search results for the people who are looking through post for that specific topic. Hashtags are used widely on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. #KeepReading :-D...
Coupled with your daily theme, hashtags allow you to grow your audience quicker, attracting people who want to be part of the conversations that you set up. In short, this one-two punch of themes and hashtags will expose your small growing business or ministry to new audiences on social media.
As the community leader, you may choose anything that resonates with you and give it a whirl. Make sure you choose something that speaks deeply to you, because it will attract those to whom the topic is important to as well. Gathering a group of quality people and inviting them in to community with you is much better than having a enormous group that are not your people, after all.
It is important to be consistent with the theme that you have chosen for each day not simply to brand what you are doing, but also to create familiarity for your community.
Everything in social media should be entered in with intention and a long term goal of three at least 3 to 6 months, if not longer.
Consistency and showing up is part of community building. Therefore I would recommend keeping the theme that you have chosen for that day, for at least 3 to 6 months. That is advisable even if you choose not to have a theme for seven days of the week. You may choose to have a theme for Mondays for the next six months for example as a way to show up regularly and consistently for your community.
Be aware that participation levels and rate of entry may vary and have nothing to do with the awesome content that you are posting. For example, it is very likely that introverts will take a longer period of time to participate.
The motto "If you build it, they will come," still rings true. So long as you are resonating with what you are doing, you must keep the faith that those who show up and meet you in community are at the right and perfect time.
If you no longer feel in alignment to what you're doing, then it might be time to rethink your strategy, go back into the silence of prayer and asked for clarity. Other than that no that those who show up in your community will be at a divine appointment.
Just like changing our consciousness, building trust and a community takes time. Don't be discouraged if the participation is but one or two soulful beings during the first couple weeks of implementation. Engagement will increase as your audience understands what you are doing.
There's no such thing as over communicating. Before you implement any new program, in this case daily social themes, you make an announcement (or 2 or 3 over a period of time) of your upcoming program so your current audience can allow the idea to percolate.
In my process to create themes for our intentional community, I have come up with many different suggestions from all over the Internet.
I am sharing them with you in this post so that if you choose to implement teams for either your personal, program, ministry or business pages, it might make it easier for you to have it all in one resource.
